For How Long Is Safe To Sit On A Saddle Chair?

It is a common belief that you cannot, or must not, sit on a saddle chair for more than a couple of hours a day. This is not the case for two-part Salli Saddle Chairs, on them, you can sit happily and safely the whole working day. The position is physiologically better than on a traditional chair because the weight of the body is divided between the sitting bones and feet.

On a one-part saddle chair, however, part of the sitting pressure is in the genital area. Nerves get pressed, and to escape the uncomfortable feeling the sitter will lean backward, away from the pressing front of the chair. For men, it is almost impossible to maintain the good position, because the pubic bone is pressing the testicles against the front of the chair.
